This client wanted a nice home for his family with reliability, comfort, and affordability combined into their dream home. With 4,000 square feet of living space, our client was concerned with having large power bills that are typically associated with larger homes. We worked with this client every step of the way throughout the construction of his new home to ensure his goals of energy independence and reliability would be met over the course of a year of construction. the results Our results for this project was just what our client expected. This year, September was warmer than average in Central Kentucky. HVAC systems worked harder in September than they usually do. Our clients utility bill for the month of September 2021 was only $17.38 on a 4,000 square foot home with an indoor heated swimming pool and 2- 4 ton heat pumps! An important thing to remember about September is the days are already becoming shorter and daylight hours are limited compared to the longer days of summer.
